Earth Day Savannah: A Local Event We’re Excited to Support

Earth Day Savannah is one of those events that brings so much good energy to the community. It’s a chance for local businesses, organizations, and families to come together and celebrate simple, practical ways to reuse, recycle, and repurpose.

Hosted by Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, Earth Day Savannah has become such a fun and meaningful local event. It brings together inspiring vendors, community partners, and educational experiences that make sustainability feel approachable and exciting.

Earth Day Savannah is presented by Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, an organization doing meaningful work right here in our community.

Lite Foot believes that we must tackle our reliance on plastic and single use products if we want to ensure a bright future for all. Their aim is to provide the greater Savannah area with resources and programs that help reduce the carbon footprint placed on our region and its natural resources.

Through educational initiatives, local swap events, and larger programs like their plastic upcycling program and closed loop water bottle program, Lite Foot Foundation creates opportunities for the community to make more sustainable choices in everyday life. Their goal with Earth Day Savannah is not just to celebrate for one day, but to encourage habits and community action that last long after the event is over.

I also love the reminder at the heart of their mission: it takes a community taking small steps to create big change.

We’re excited to support Earth Day Savannah as one of the community drop off stations. As part of the event, we’re also giving back to our community with a special gift!
