June in Savannah has a little bit of everything we love. There are plenty of reasons to get outside, support local businesses, and wear our sunglasses!
So much of what’s happening this month is rooted in creativity, small businesses, and the people who make Savannah feel like home. We’re sharing a few local events we’re looking forward to, plus a fun little challenge for our ForSight community.
First Fridays in Starland
Friday, June 5
A fun evening for local art, small businesses, and creative energy in one of Savannah’s most expressive neighborhoods.
Forsyth Farmers’ Market
Every Saturday in June
A Savannah favorite for fresh produce, local vendors, community connection, and a good reminder to bring your sunglasses!
Savannah Sunset Market at Eastern Wharf
Thursday, June 11 and Thursday, June 25
An evening market with local vendors, farmers, artisans, food trucks, live music, and a beautiful waterfront setting.
SCAD MOA Second Sunday
Sunday, June 14
A great local outing for art, design, and visual inspiration, with free admission for Savannah and surrounding county residents!
We give our patients their glasses in a reusable ForSight bag, and over time, we’ve seen people use them for so many different things. Market bags, beach bags, book bags, errand bags, travel bags, snack bags, and everything in between.
Thank you for bringing a little ForSight with you wherever you go. It’s such a small thing, but it makes me so happy when I spot those bags “in the wild.” So this month, we want to make it official: show us your ForSight bag in the wild!
We’d love to see how our community is using them around Savannah. If you share a photo, tag ForSight so we can see where your bag has been. We may even share a few of our favorites!
June is a good time to make sure your sunglasses are working for you. They should protect your eyes, fit comfortably, and make you feel excited to wear them.
If you need a new pair of sunglasses for summer, stop by ForSight Unique Eyecare & Eyewear. We’d love to help you find something that fits your face, your style, and the way you spend your time in Savannah!
With love and gratitude,
Dr. Morrow
